I’ve worked with the Bells family for years now on a sporadic basis since I first shot their eldest son’s Bar Mitzvah in Flagstaff in 2013, I believe. I was such a joy getting to catch up with their family again in preparation for their two daughters’ Scottsdale B’not Mitzvah.

Lindsey and Lexie are such sweet girls who I’ve had the pleasure of watching from the distance of social media grow up into gorgeous young women. Lexie, the youngest of the two, is so adorable, talented, and she has a huge heart. This gave me the opportunity to photograph her at least two times now, and I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to do it again. This time though, I got to spend some time on portraits of JUST HER, and she totally blew me away. She is an editing dream.

Lindsey is the kind of girl who oozes timelessness and grace with a hardworking mindset (both on and off the volleyball court) and a killer sense of style. She’s reserved but strong, and I thought posing her next to some delicate but bold flowers seemed more than fitting for her.

Their B’not Mitzvah was laid-back but true to the family’s personality. It was held in the barn where they keep their horses and had a fun, rustic theme throughout. They had an L&L logo designed which was used as a monogram logo throughout the details of the decor. They hired a magician for the reception entertainment which was a super fun addition to the night.

All in all, it was so much fun seeing this wonderful family again and getting to know Lexie and Lindsey even better than I already had. Congrats, girls on your Scottsdale B’not Mitzvah! It was a total dream.
